The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, The Voice of Business, acts as a catalyst for the development and organizing of programs and services on behalf of its members to help make Peterborough a better place in which to do business, to live and work in. Not only does the Chamber represent the concerns and interests of business, lobbying for good government and sound legislation, but it also acts as a source of information for members and the general public. The current membership of the Chamber is over 1,000 with active participation at local, provincial and federal levels. The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce is affiliated with both the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
