Lehigh Cement has been manufacturing cement in region Canada since 1904 (Bamberton, BC), making us a pillar of the many communities around us, bringing employment and economic benefit to small towns and big cities for more than 110 years. Today, Lehigh operates cement production plants in Delta, British Columbia (1978) and Edmonton, Alberta (1956), and a grinding facility in Bellingham, Washington (1989). Over the past decade Lehigh Cement became an affiliated company of Lehigh Hanson Canada, part of the HeidelbergCement Group headquartered in Germany. Established in 1874, HeidelbergCement Group is among the world leaders in building materials and employees 52,000 people in over 40 countries at 2,500 locations.
