The Durham Region Field Naturalists , formerly known as the “Oshawa Naturalists Club” was founded in March 1955 with an initial membership of 40 people. That number has now grown to over 100. General Meetings are held the last Monday of every month, except December, June, July & August, at 7:30 pm, Northview Branch, Oshawa Public Library (Beatrice St. at Ritson Rd., Oshawa). Guest speakers at monthly meetings address a variety of topics of interest to naturalists.
