CBDC Hants-Kings is a non-profit, community based entity, that provides one-on-one business counselling assistance, business plan assistance, self-employment assistance, and financial assistance to all residents of Hants and Kings counties. All programs and services are mutually exclusive with the self-employment assistance arm including business plan assistance, one-on-one counselling, business skill development, and income support for qualified individuals during the initial start-up phase of the business. Financial assistance arm includes youth loans up to $20,000 at prime plus 2%; first time entrepreneur, general business, innovation, and social enterprise loans up to $150,000; Department of Community Service entrepreneur loans up to $15,000; SIB loans up to $5,000; and CYBF loans.
