In the spring of 2006 Hy Tea opened its doors to the public. Hy Niles is the owner of Hy-Tea and her son, Kirk Niles, manages the tea house and restaurant. They had a dream of becoming the coziest tea house and restaurant in Durham Region. The Frenchman’s Bay Village community in Pickering, Ontario provided the perfect setting to help make this dream come true.
